Fremont County Sheriff Ryan Lee shared updates and statistics at the Fremont County Commissioners’ public meeting today.
A total of 392 bookings happened in June and July from 5 different agencies here in Fremont County. RPD has the most with 146.
There are 192 inmates currently in custody. Some of which are at the Sweetwater County facility due to overpopulation at the Fremont County Detention Center.

Sheriff Lee also shared there have been 20 Search & Rescue (SAR) operations so far this calendar year compared to 15 at this time last year. 5 have been extensive operations in the last two months.
There have been 4800 calls for service this calendar year and the FCSO has been assisting other agencies with several violent crimes. Additional details not provided.
