Several travel closures and advisories around Wyoming Sunday morning

*Most Fremont County roadways have reopened as of 9:00 am.

After a winter storm dropped a significant amount of snowfall on much of the state overnight, there are several travel warnings and closures around northern and central Wyoming.


As of 6:30 a.m. Sunday;

  • I-25 is closed between Casper and Buffalo
  • US 20/26 between Moneta and Waltman is CLOSED
  • US 20/ WY 789 Shoshoni to Thermopolis is CLOSED
  • South Pass is CLOSED (reopened as of 8:30 am)

There are also many unnecessary travel warnings around the county and state.
