Both the Jackson Hole News & Guide and Buckrail are reporting that over one dozen people were injured in a hot air balloon crash near Teton Village, Wyoming Monday morning.
Both reports indicate that three hot air balloons were involved, and that weather is likely a factor in the crash.
The report came into Jackson-area authorities at 8:13 a.m. Monday. The Teton County Sheriff’s Office, Jackson Hole Fire/EMS, and National Park Service law enforcement were on scene.
According to the reports, one patient was seriously injured and flown to an Idaho hospital. Five patients were transported by ground ambulance to St. John’s Health in Jackson.
