    Several former Wyoming Cowboys had a huge week 16 in the NFL

    Big news for this week’s Pokes In The Pros as Josh Allen threw his 34th passing touchdown of the 2020 season and sealed his spot in the Buffalo Bills record book as the franchise’s all-time single-season leader!

    Allen and the Bills dominated the New England Patriots on Monday Night Football to the tune of a 38-9 win. Allen passed for 320 yards and four touchdowns, helping his teammate Stephon Diggs earn the AFC Offensive Player of the Week. The Bills can wrap up the number two seed in the AFC with a win Miami Dolphins this coming Sunday. 

    Starting for the second week in a row for the Philadelphia Eagles, Marcus Epps made his impact felt against the Dallas Cowboys. Epps tied a season high with eight total tackles as the Eagles fell 17-37 on the road. 

    Jacob Hollister and the Seattle Seahawks clinched the NFC West with a convincing 20-9 victory over the Los Angeles Rams at home. Seahawks QB Russel Wilson found Jacob Hollister for the touchdown for the second straight week. Hollister hauled in two catches for 17 yards, and caught his third TD pass of the 2020 season. 

    A couple of former Cowboy Safetys squared off in Jacksonville as Andrew Wingard and the Jaguars hosted Tashaun Gipson and the Chicago Bears. Wingard recorded six total tackles for the home team, as Gipson made the start for the Bears and recorded one tackle in the 41-17 Bears win.

    Carl Granderson and the New Orleans Saints posted a 52-spot on Christmas Day against the Minnesota Vikings on a special Christmas Day edition on the gridiron. Granderson recorded one tackle in the Saints win. Eddie Yarbrough saw the field for the third time this season on the other side of the ball for the Vikings. The third year defensive end recorded two tackles in the loss. 

    Brian Hill & Tyler Hall were on the field as the Atlanta Falcons tried to take down the number one team in the AFC, the Kansas City Chiefs. Hill rushed three times for 25 yards and Hall recorded one tackle playing primarily on special teams as the Falcons missed a last second field goal to tie the game, and fell to the Chiefs 14-17. 

    Chase Roullier made his 15th start of the season for the Washington Football Team on Sunday afternoon vs. the Carolina Panthers. The fourth year center aided the Washington run game to 108 yards on the ground, but the Football Team lost 13-20 to the Panthers.

    Cassh Maluia saw his first game action since week 10 on Monday Night Football against the Bills. Maluia did not record any stats but saw time on defense and special teams for the Patriots. 

    Mark Nzeocha came back to the field for the first time since an injury in week three. Nzeocha and the San Francisco 49ers picked up the win over the Arizona Cardinals 20-12 as Nzeocha notched one tackle. 

    Mike Purcell remains out for the season with a Lisfranc fracture in his left foot. His Denver Broncos fell. 16-19 to the Los Angeles Chargers on the road.

    Logan Wilson has been held out of the last two contests with a foot injury and is unclear if he will play in the Cincinnati Bengals season finale on Sunday vs. the Baltimore Ravens.
