Sergeant Charlie Foutz received the Peace Officer of the Year Award at the 92nd Wyoming Peace Officer Association Conference happening now in Casper, WY.
Congratulations, Sergeant Foutz!
You may recall Sergeant Foutz was the first on the scene at an ATV accident in July and helped save a 10-year-olds life. Full story here.
A note from Governor Mark Gordon:
“Thank you to the Wyoming Peace Officers Association for inviting me to speak at your annual conference. These men and women are working tirelessly to keep our communities, highways and public lands safe, and should be commended for the work they do every day. Congratulations to Sgt. Robert Foutz with the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office who was awarded Peace Officer of the Year and Shannon Washburn with the Wyoming Highway Patrol who was recognized as Dispatcher of the Year.”
