    September 11th honors happening around Fremont County Saturday

    (Fremont County, WY) – County 10 has shared the 9/11 memorial events that we know of happening across the county over the past few weeks. Below is a rundown of what is happening and where along with links to view our earlier posts.

    Lander has the first honor happening at 9 am today at the Lander Volunteer Fire Department located at 430 Garfield Street. Click here for more info.

    The National Museum of Military Vehicles just outside of Dubois has free admission all day in honor of September 11th. Click here to read more.

    The first-ever Rendezvous at the Riverwalk in Riverton will pay a special tribute at 10 am to those who lost their lives 20 years ago as well as our local first responders. Click here to read more.

    A September 11th parade in Riverton begins at 11 am and will include a piece of the Twin Towers. Click here to read more.

    The Fremont County Cornhole League is hosting a 9/11 Memorial Tournament to raise funds for Riverton’s Veterans Hall. Registration ends at 3 pm and bags fly at 3:30 pm. Click here to learn more.

    All Fremont County Veterans are welcome to attend a meet and greet with the newly elected American Legion National Commander at the VFW in Lander tonight from 5-7 pm. Click here to read more.
