Semi rear-ends slower moving backhoe
On Wednesday evening, around 6:00 PM, a semi truck traveling on Highway 28 at a high rate of speed struck a backhoe from behind. The backhoe was being driven by Scott Sims of Lander and was moving at a much lower rate of speed. Sims sustained serious injuries and was life-flighted to Casper for medical treatment.
The Wyoming Highway Patrol is currently investigating the details of the crash. County 10 will post an update when more information becomes available.
