Q&A with owner of Bott Monument & Casket, Drew Bott

Q: So what spurred this decision?

A: Simply put, we saw there was a great need for a second option when it came to funeral expenses. The average cost of a funeral (excluding a monument) is between $7,000-$11,000 and we personally know of funerals that exceeded $18,000. After much research and discussion with customers, we learned that 50% or more of that cost was often in the casket. So we invested some money to help families save their money and Riverton needs new businesses! We felt it was a win-win!

“Our new casket service is a way to help the public,” -Drew Bott, Owner

Q: How much money could a family be saving through Bott Casket?

A: Through Bott Monument & Casket, families will be able to purchase an 18-gauge casket of superior quality for $1,795.00! Caskets of even remotely similar quality regularly exceed $4,000 and we had a client from the Big Horn basin that was quoted $8,300 for the exact same casket we have on display. And that’s just for the 18-gauge caskets – our wood and copper caskets can save families even more in many cases.

    Q: What about Bott Monument?

A: In addition to the thousands of dollars families will be saving on a casket, Bott Monument will offer 20% off any monument with the purchase of every casket and FREE delivery to your home or the funeral home. If you already have a memorial in place, we’ll do the death date inscription for free. Those who want to save more money can arrange to pick up the casket from Bott Monument & Casket and receive an additional $200 off!

Bott Monument & Casket has an indoor showroom and over 50 caskets in stock. The public can choose from 18-gauge metal, copper, solid Alder wood (entirely made right here in the West) or, for those choosing cremation, a simple cremation casket. All at a fraction of the cost you would pay at an average funeral home.

Be sure to stop into the new Bott Monument & Casket during their Open House! They’d love to see you!
