    Search underway for missing 74-year-old Fremont County man

    The Fremont County Sheriff’s office has released a statement about a missing person search that is currently taking place. The release is below, in bold:

     

    Fremont County Search and Rescue members and the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office are currently assisting the Wind River Police Department (BIA) and Tribal Game and Fish in a search for a 74-year-old Fremont County man who went missing from a campsite in the Crow Creek area of the Wind River Indian Reservation in northern Fremont County. The man was reported missing from his campsite at around 7:00 pm on July 6th. Members of all three of Fremont County’s Search and Rescue Divisions (Riverton, Lander and Dubois) are currently involved in the search as well as members of Sublette County’s “Tip Top” Search and Rescue Organization.
