    Search for missing man continues; Sheriff said he should’ve been seen by now

    (Lander, Wyo.) – Fremont County Sheriff Skip Hornecker said his deputies “have been working very hard” to locate a missing man. Jose “Pepe” Pereda, 70,  of Arapahoe was last seen on Wednesday, September 5th around 11:30 a.m. “We are in active search modes, including an airplane flying slow and low grids in some areas we’re looking at,” Hornecker said Tuesday morning. “We’re working it very hard, it is a concern for us.”

    The sheriff noted the missing man story has been spread far and wide through social media. “This person should’ve been seen by now, we’ve been working it hard for five days now. We have searched a large area of this county for this person,” he said.
