Search for Lander resident continues

UPDATE – 9/22/19: He is believed to be operating a dark green Arctic Cat 750 side-by-side ATV.

The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office reported activating local Search and Rescue crews at approximately 7:30 pm on Thursday, September 19th for a missing person.

Lander’s Mayor Monte Richardson shared the following on his public Facebook page:

Help needed in locating missing Lander man

A 55-year-old Lander man has been reported missing, possibly in the mountains above Lander.

David Hubble, was reported missing around 7:30 p.m. on Thursday evening and Fremont County Search and Rescue was contacted.

Hubble is described as standing over 6-feet-tall with short gray hair and a long gray beard. Hubble hasn’t been seen or heard from since Monday night. He is believed to be operating a dark green Arctic Cat 750 side-by-side ATV.

The search is being concentrated from Red Canyon to Limestone, extending to Meyers Basin.

Anyone who has seen David Hubble since Monday is asked to please call the Fremont County Sheriff’s office at 332-5611. Hunters in the area are asked to keep an eye out for Hubble this weekend.
