At approximately 1:45 pm on Saturday, April 18th, a two-vehicle crash occurred near milepost 96 on US 26 east of Crowheart.
The two vehicles involved were a Jeep Cherokee with one occupant and Ford Edge with several occupants, according to Wyoming Highway Patrol Lt. Travis Hauser. The driver of the Jeep Cherokee was pronounced dead on the scene. As of this morning, April 20th, the name of the driver has not been released. The occupants in the Ford Edge were all taken to the hospital and released with minor injuries.
