It is with great pride and appreciation that we (SageWest Health Care) recognize our SageWest Employee of the Month for August, Amy Jarrard, ICU RN.
Her colleagues call her a “shining star for SageWest” and a “natural teacher.” Amy treats her patients and patient family with compassion and understanding. She is an advocate for not only her patients but for SageWest as well.
Currently, Amy is doing a fabulous job teaching and being a leader to her UW nursing student. Here’s what her student had to say: “I never felt pressured to be perfect, as I have in other places. She never tried to force me to be someone I’m not. The key is that she accepted me as I was and helped me to grow from there… She has really helped me grow in competence and the experience I had here will be invaluable.”
