The Riverton Police Department responded to 29 calls for service in a 20-hour period on Tuesday.
During that period, 9 individuals were arrested and 8 of those were alcohol related.
3 separate incidents of driving under the influence were mentioned on the RPD call log, including one that resulted in a drunk driver striking a parked vehicle on the 900 block of West Park Avenue at 4:36 p.m. A 27-year-old female driver was charged with DUI, Property Destruction, and Interference.

A 43-year-old Riverton man and a 33-year-old Riverton man were also arrested for DUI Tuesday.
5 additional indivdiuals were arrested for Public Intoxication on Tuesday. The only non-alcohol related arrest was for a Fremont County warrant.
RPD also responded to a theft report report of a stolen cell phone, two thefts of services including 2 cases of beer and boxes of new shoes, a hit-and-run incident, and a report of a male subject who, “defecated near a woman’s yard.”
Additionally, the Fremont County Sheriff’s Department arrested 3 individuals on Tuesday. One for a DUI and 2 for warrants.
The Lander Police Department arrested 1 individual for warrants.
