    Roy “Geno” Eugene Genaro

    Roy “Geno” Eugene Genaro, 90, of Hudson, Wyoming passed away on August 18, 2018 at his home. Per his wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no services.

    Roy Eugene Genero was born in Lander, Wyoming on March 23, 1928 to Thersa and Roy Genero. He attended school in Hudson, Wyoming and Fremont County Vocational school in Lander, Wyoming.

    Roy was drafted into the Army in 1947. He later retuned to Lander and graduated from Fremont County Vocational High School in 1949.

    He worked for Boeing Aircraft in Renton Washington. Roy was a straw boss at Susquehanna Uranium and for Lucky Mac. He also worked for the Bureau of Rec. and BLM and the Wyoming State Training School.

    He enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting antiques and collectables. Roy also loved old movies, dancing and cooking. He made the best sarma in Hudson. Roy had a passion for flying, he loved airplanes. Roy fed the neighborhood cats, looked after dogs and smiled at everyone. He was a devoted friend to many.

    Roy was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Fraternal Order of Eagles and the American Legion.

    He was married to Carol Genaro and is survived by daughters Linda and Robin. Survived by brother Melvin in Seattle Washington.

    Preceded in death by his parents, and sister Edna Mae.
