Rocky Mountain Car Show, Autocross winners announced

The 20th annual Rocky Mountain Car Show and Autocross competition were another huge hit this year as part of the 38th Riverton Rendezvous celebration. The Rocky Mountain Rebels again hosted the events this weekend, and spokesman Ty Becker told us that despite not a lot of new entries, the overall event was a huge success again this year.

Attendance seemed about average this year, I think our event is one of the biggest deals in town. The fair and demolition derbies may be the only thing that draws a bigger crowd.

The car show’s big winner in 2018 was Jamie Holman, a Big Piney, Wyoming native. Holman won “People’s Choice” with his ’71 Chevrolet truck. His Custom Crew Cab featured a 502 cubic inch engine, and the cab was custom built from a suburban.
