    Roberta Marie Vidakovich Obituary

    Roberta Marie Vidakovich; beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed from this life on Good Friday, April 2, 2021 in Centennial, Colorado at the age of 84.

    Roberta was born on September 4, 1937 in Gebo, Wyoming. She grew up in Rock Springs, Wyoming and graduated from Rock Springs High School. She married her High School sweetheart, John Vidakovich, on August 14, 1955 in Rock Springs and they were married for 66 wonderful years. John fell in love with Roberta from the time he met her and saw her beautiful blue eyes. (Roberta’s favorite color was also blue). They traveled and explored the world together. John was by her side for 67 years; faithfully beside her, holding her hand until the moment that she passed.

    After Roberta and John were married, she supported him while he obtained his Pharmacy Degree and his Juris Doctorate Degree in Law at the University of Wyoming. Their family lived in Rock Springs, Laramie, Lander and Jackson, Wyoming as well as in Denver and Centennial, Colorado. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother (Grandma Bert to her grandchildren); a gentle soul and our Wyoming Pioneer Woman. Roberta truly enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed traveling, fine cuisine and shopping.

    Roberta worked in several professional capacities during her lifetime. She was the bookkeeper at Western Law Associates in Lander for many years and later practiced as an accomplished Interior Designer and Realtor in Wyoming and Colorado.

    Roberta is survived by her husband, John, and their four children: Cheryl Vidakovich, Peggy Sengelman (Scot), John R. Vidakovic (Kelly), and Genee Vidakovich; her three siblings: Bill Baker, John Baker (Lynne, dec.), and Ed Baker (Sandy); her grandchildren: Johnathan Sengelman (Vicki), Sean Sengelman, Landon Sengelman, Casey Wurth (Seth), Niko and Max Vidakovic, Remington Reitsma(Kendra) and Basil Harris (Sarah); her great grandchildren: Tristan Sengelman-Lipps, Doc Wurth, Colter and Amelia Reitsma, and River Harris.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth and John Fornengo.

    A Celebration of Life for Roberta will be held in August of 2021 in Centennial, Colorado.
