    Robert Raynor

    After a short battle with cancer, Robert Frank Raynor, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 10, 2021. Robert was a man who went by many names: Buzzy, Bob, Jose, Julio, Padre, Gramps, Grampa, and most importantly Dad.

    Robert was born to Geraldine Lorraine and Charles Willis Raynor on February 25, 1947 in Boulder, Colorado. He became a little brother to John and not long after a big brother to his sister Darlene. When Robert was 6 years old their family moved from Boulder to Lander where they lived on Snavely Lane and later North Fork where his Father ranched. His mother, Loraine, was a schoolteacher mostly at South Elementary, where Robert also attended school. As a child Robert enjoyed playing with his siblings but only after his long list of chores around the family’s ranch were complete. Robert went on to attend Fremont County Vocational High School where he excelled in the FFA program. He graduated FCVHS in 1966. After high school he went to work for the Bozeke Ranch up North Fork where many lifelong friendships where made. During this time, he married and was soon blessed with two girls, Peggy Sue and Melissa Lynn. After he left the Bozeke Ranch he went on to several jobs, most of which were in Jeffrey City, where he learned to operate heavy machinery. Robert later remarried and was Blessed with another, daughter Abbey Pauline and finally a son, Adam Robert. Robert was given an opportunity by his father-in-law to purchase his business and make it his own. Robert owned and operated his own machinery until he retired. During this time, he raised his children in the community of Lander where he was very well known. He would spend winter snowmobiling, ice fishing, and building in his woodshop. In the summers he was busy running his business, playing golf, spending time with his family and traveling. In 2011 Robert moved to Arizona where he played golfed, 4 wheeled, continued woodworking projects, and traveled.

    A celebration of life will be held on July 2, 2021 in Lander. Time and location will be determined at a later date.

    Robert is preceded in death by his mother Geraldine Lorraine Raynor and Charlies Willis Raynor.

    He is survived by his four children Peggy Sue Wolf of Lander WY, Melissa Lynn Sunseri of Orlando FL, Abbey Pauline Raynor of San Tan Valley AZ, and Adam Robert Raynor of San Tan Valley AZ. Brother John Raynor of White Bird ID, Sister Darlene Rossi of Riverton WY. Grandchildren Briana Le Wolf, Tyrel William Wolf, Nicholas Valentine Sunseri, and Macy Pauline Raynor.
