Rob Hunt Retires from WYDOT
(BASIN, WYO.) – Rob Hunt has retired from the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) after 18 years with the Basin maintenance crew.
“I’ve enjoyed my time with WYDOT,” Hunt said at his retirement luncheon on August 30th.
Hunt joined WYDOT when he was hired as a maintenance technician on September 13, 1999. He was promoted to heavy equipment operator, then promoted to maintenance foreman.
The Gillette native is a 1971 graduate of Greybull High School. He still lives in Greybull.
Hunt was previously employed by Dresser Minerals, Wyo-Ben, and Ron’s Food Farm in Greybull.
He is a veteran of the U.S. Army. He served 1972-74 at Fort Bliss, Texas.
