Riverton High School standout Treyton Paxton signed to play college hoops earlier this week, and right around the corner from where he played high school hoops.
Paxton signed with Central Wyoming College to become a Rustler in the fall.
Paxton thanked his parents and CWC coach Brad Schmidt for the opportunity after signing his letter of intent.
Coach Schmidt said that he’s excited to get a local product, but would have recruited Paxton even if he wasn’t from Fremont County. “He’s a great kid, hard worker, and his best basketball is easily ahead of him. We’re excited and can’t wait to have him on campus in the fall,” he said.
