#rivertonbiz, brought to you by Grace Andrus with Edward Jones, shares the stories of the local movers and shakers of our Fremont County economy.
Riverton resident Bret Sowards recently started Wyoming Custom Epoxy, LLC after becoming a certified installer of decorative concrete flooring and countertop coatings.
“There are so many different designs and techniques you can apply on flooring,” Bret explained about the epoxy and polyaspartic coatings. There are color flakes, metallics, decals, and more. “It’s really custom artwork.”
Prior to becoming a certified installer through Polished Concrete University in Florida, Bret gained experience working with concrete and carpentry from Jason Campbell at Futuristic Flatwork and Framing.
The three-person team that currently makes up Wyoming Custom Expoxy, LLC serves both residential and commercial locations throughout Fremont County, and is available for out of county projects for an additional fee.
The cost can range from $6-$12 per square foot and is dependent on the current concrete and if there is a coating on it already. Bret also has a special system for outdoor spaces that prevent cracks from forming due to the hot and cold temperatures that Wyoming experiences throughout the year.
