#RivertonBiz: The Private Chef brings gourmet meals to your home

#rivertonbiz, brought to you by Grace Andrus with Edward Jones, shares the stories of the local movers and shakers of our Fremont County economy.

The Private Chef is providing the local community a take-and-bake gourmet meal service. Owner Destiny Dower makes everything from scratch with as many locally sourced ingredients as possible.

The weekly rotating menu is generally posted on The Private Chef Facebook page on Saturdays. If you are not on Facebook, you can give Destiny a call at (307) 851-5452 to see what she has available and the pricing. She prepares and freezes meals for 1-2 or 4-6 people, all you have to do is pop them in the oven.

Earlier this month, The Private Chef had their grand opening in a newly remodeled space directly behind Forever West Boutique at 318 East Main Street. Under current circumstances, the storefront is not open to the public for meal pick-up. However, Destiny is delivering meals up to five miles outside of Riverton.

Destiny brings over 12 years of food industry experience to Fremont County. She graduated from Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts in Boulder, Colorado and is also a Central Wyoming College alumnus.

The Private Chef started about four months ago when Destiny moved back to Riverton from Colorado to be closer to family. It originally started with catering birthdays, weddings, Christmas parties and more. In the last two months, it has transitioned into the take-and-bake meal service. However, they still offer catering.
