#RivertonBiz: Teton Therapy purchased Jiffy Rental building for 2020 expansion

#rivertonbiz, brought to you by Grace Andrus with Edward Jones, shares the stories of the local movers and shakers of our Fremont County economy.

The Jiffy Rental Center sign was taken down yesterday, marking their transition in building ownership to recent buyers Teton Therapy.

Jiffy Rental has been a staple rental place in Riverton for many years, and they are not closing down, shared owner Bob Steen. They are planning to look at leasing a building after the winter season is over, but things are not confirmed yet. You can still rent items this winter by calling (307) 856-RENT between 8:00 am and 12:00 pm.

Teton Therapy is currently in the creative phase of establishing the perfect floor plan for their new building, shared CEO Jeff McMenmany. “We have some young therapists who have ideas and passions.” They are planning to offer new and innovative things for their clients. “Covering all ages from pediatrics to geriatrics.”

They had been saving to renovate and expand their current Riverton location, but decided purchasing this building would be the better option. Another reason being the ease of parking and wheelchair accessibility. Their existing building is not as conducive to that.

The Riverton Teton Therapy has been the central location for all of their management, billing, payroll, and marketing for their four locations across Wyoming. An out-of-state company approached them about doing their management services so they can focus on treating patients, Jeff explained. “This wasn’t planned.” Right now, they are looking at managing this out-of-state clinic. Nothing has been confirmed yet.

They are looking at January before the building plans can be completed, Jeff noted. “Realistically looking at a spring move over date.”
