#RivertonBiz: Teton Therapy moves into new location Thursday

#rivertonbiz, shares the stories of local movers and shakers of our Fremont County economy.

It was a busy last day of 2020 for Teton Therapy staff as they moved into their newly renovated clinic at 1406 W Main in Riverton. They are currently unpacking and preparing to open up for patients on Monday, January 4th.

The new location, formerly Jiffy Rental, more than doubles its square footage allowing them to enhance their current services. This is something CEO Jeff McMenamy is most looking forward to with this move.

[I'm] most excited to see how we can advance our therapy options,” he shared with County 10. “Right now we are so limited due to space; now this opens up a whole array of treatment options.”

The sports performance enhancement side of things has expanded with an indoor turf area and new equipment such as a push-pull sled. This addition will also be utilized with their Work Hardening Therapy for injured workers who have completed rehabilitation and are ready to get back to work.

Their Pediatric Program now has a dedicated room for children’s therapy which includes a sensory swing to not only help with physical disabilities but behavioral therapy for primarily ADHD and autism, McMenamy explained.

The Senior Wellness Program will also see expanded programming for their post-therapy health.

They also have a special, temperature-controlled room for Electromyogram (EMG) and Musculoskeletal Ultrasound diagnostic services. With this testing, they can locate the issue and make sure you are getting the right treatment for the problem you are experiencing. McMenamy noted they are the only ones doing this type of diagnostic testing locally.

This new clinic not only provides expanded indoor therapy options but has room for outdoor programming. Nothing official has been planned for the outdoor space, but McMenamy is hoping it can be a little more community-based, rather than just therapy.

An open house is also being planned for January 21st – more details to be released soon. Click here to learn more about Teton Therapy’s move.
