    #RivertonBiz: Skate shop opens in Riverton last week

    #rivertonbiz, shares the stories of local movers and shakers of our Fremont County economy.

    (Riverton, WY) – Just a few short blocks away from the Tyler Ray Apodaca Skate Park at Riverton’s City Park is the brand new store Last Stand Skates (LSS).

    They opened their doors last week and current operating hours are from 1-7 pm Tuesday through Saturday. You can also buy merchandise on their website at laststandskates.com.

    Washingtonians Kim and Shawn Hendricks moved here a mere four months ago bringing with them their skate shop Woodland Skates which they opened as LSS at 109 N 5th E between E Main and E Fremont.

    They carry pretty much everything a skateboarder or a kid that rides a scooter will need, Kim shared with County 10. We are trying to carry anything that a kid or an adult, from a beginner to a collector, would be interested in.

    “If we don’t have it, we’ll find it for them.”

    They offer a variety of brands including Darkroom, Antihero, Shorty’s, and Independent among many others. Products include decks, trucks, wheels, parts, and clothing. They plan to add footwear in the coming months and offer gift cards as well.

    Kim and Shawn also started Wyoming’s only Free Block Buster box. Located in front of their store – it’s a take a movie, leave a movie kind of deal.
