#RivertonBiz: Riverton Packing reopens under new ownership

#rivertonbiz, brought to you by Grace Andrus with Edward Jones, shares the stories of the local movers and shakers of our Fremont County economy.

Longtime local wild game processors Paul, Nancy, and Miles Kearl reopened Riverton Packing located at 2515 E. Monroe in mid-March. This family-owned business has been in the works for over two years as they’ve made updates to the facility, Miles shared.

Riverton Packing is custom exempt so they work directly with ranchers and farmers to process their beef, pigs, sheep, and goats. Current processing times for their six-person operation is only a few weeks out, Paul noted.

They knew local demand for custom exempt processors was high so they decided to branch out from wild game processing and purchase Riverton Packing to fill that local need.

The Kearls want everyone to know they are open for business and happy to help ranchers and farmers with their processing needs. You can learn more by visiting rivertonpacking.com, calling them at (307) 851-6723 or by emailing [email protected].
