    • Possession of heroin with intent to deliver
    • Possession of carfentanil (3rd or subsequent, enhanced penalty)
    • Possession of methamphetamine (3rd or subsequent, enhanced penalty)

The last three charges are enhanced penalty due to two previous ‘possession of controlled substance methamphetamine’ charges that Poole was convicted of on November 5th, 2020, and May 19th, 2021.

Sufficient probable cause was found at Poole’s preliminary hearing and the case now moves on to District Court, with an arraignment date set for February 11th.

On Friday, October 15th, 2021, Riverton Police Department (RPD) officers reportedly discovered Poole in a vehicle with the following: 2.3 grams of suspected methamphetamine, .6 grams of suspected heroin, 2 small blue pills of suspected Fentanyl, and .2 grams of suspected carfentanil.

Officers also discovered several paraphernalia items “consistent with the use of methamphetamine and heroin.”

All of the reportedly discovered drugs were later tested, with the suspected methamphetamine and carfentanil both testing “presumptive positive.”

The suspected heroin test result came back as “inconclusive.”

The suspected Fentanyl tested “presumptive positive for Acetaminophen but can’t rule out the presence of narcotics,” with court documents indicating the testing officer noted this result to be a “consistent result from previously tested Fentanyl pills.”
