You have TWO opportunities to catch the farmers market on Wednesday in Riverton!
The Google filming car is filming Riverton this Wednesday, a “pop-up” market will be held on the corner of Main and Federal, from 8:45 am to 9:15 am. Approximately ten vendors will be selling everything from baby carrots to grass-fed beef bundles! Both cow and goats milk will be available; local honey, eggs and lots of early fresh vegetables. Special pricing for this 30-minute extravaganza!! Come join the fun and be filmed for Google!
At 5 pm the regular market will convene in City Park, with 25-30 booths selling a huge range of local foods. More fresh vegetables are coming online every week, including cucumbers, carrots, leaf lettuces, bok choy, and broccoli. Look for strawberries – two different vendors may have them!
Stock up on staples: local eggs, great home-baked cookies, fresh bread, goat cheese, bakery buns, and rolls. Try Ballou’s homemade granola, or Wisconsin maple syrup –processed by Jon, from Jeffery City, from his Wisconsin trees.
