Temperatures are increasing and so are ALL the veggies at the Riverton Wednesday Market!

A big thank you to our sponsor Wyoming Community Bank for bringing you this content on County 10.

The Wednesday Market is growing! And so, finally, are the local vegetables!

As the summer warms up, shoppers will see more vegetables every week. Look for cauliflower, broccoli, kale, chard, lots of different lettuces, carrots, cucumbers, a few early tomatoes and peppers, and potatoes. Corn is still likely a couple of weeks out but we’ll keep you posted!

The number of producers selling at the market jumped to 33 last week and we expect even more this week. There are always delightful surprises!

Check out the smoked hard cheeses, Jared’s dog treats, fresh salsa, and unique sewn items, including beautifully made zippered bags.

Baked goods range from yummy cookies to cinnamon rolls, fruit quick bread, and creamy delicious cheesecake. Look for homemade double-crust fruit pies, raspberry yogurt, and other unique products.

Sara’s goat milk soaps and hand lotions are wonderful in fresh scents like lemon/lavender and peppermint.

We have our SNAP equipment up and running and welcome SNAP customers. Come visit us at the Wednesday Market in the north-east corner of Riverton City Park between 5-7 pm July 24.

Next week the market teams up with the Riverton Chamber for ALIVE AT 5, with extra food trucks and Lost Springs Band playing great music in the bandshell. City Park is THE place to be these days!
