There are lots of tomatoes, carrots, chard, kale and cucumbers! Onions, beets, broccoli, cauliflower, new potatoes, kohlrabi and more abound! You can get fresh herbs and condiments like salsa, too. Every week we are delighted with multiple surprise products!
Dairy producers bring fresh, raw cow’s milk and goat milk every week, along with a number of other dairy products. Find fresh butter, both fresh and sour cream, mozzarella cheese, other soft cheeses (often flavored with fresh local herbs) and more each week. John still has a nice selection of Wisconsin cheeses, along with his own, home-produced maple syrup.
Don’t overlook local eggs, local pork and beef, great baked goods (fruit breads and cinnamon rolls are especially popular!), honey, and locally produced crafts, as well.
If it’s good to eat, you’re sure to find it at the Farmer’s Market!!
