Riverton theater makes list of ‘spooky’ Wyoming stories

(Riverton, WY) – It’s very likely that you’ve been to this Riverton business without even realizing there are some pretty incredible stories about its history.

The Acme Theater was built in the 1920’s and played host to many vaudeville and penny shows decades ago.

While most of the patrons at the Acme the last few years have enjoyed a show on the big screen, there have allegedly been a couple reports of a shadowy figure who lurks in the balcony-area. Some have speculated it may be the presence of one of those vaudeville-era performers.
