Riverton School Board met in newly refurbished room Tuesday night

(Riverton, Wyo) – The board room at the Fremont County School District #25 Central Office had a make-over during the holiday break. New furniture, carpeting, paint and audio/visual improvements were made to the space.

“The remodel was done over the holiday break, and it finished up just before noon on Monday when our first meeting was held here,”said Superintendent Terry Snyder. “A lot of the work was designed by Ted May and JoAnne Flanagan. It’s a dual-purpose design for not only board and staff meetings, but for professional development trainings. We’ve added functionality to enhance to audience’s ability to see PowerPoints and extra outlets were installed in the floor in the middle of the room.”

Maintenance Supervisor Larry Hartwell noted vendors who came in over the holiday included Plains Carpet, Samuelson Painting, Boyle electric, Budget Blinds and vendors who worked equipping the Willow Creek School including Norm Haggarty of Gillette and Top Office Company. “Our maintenance and custodial staff did a great job with it,” he said.
