Riverton man sentenced on December 7th for abusive sexual contact

United States Attorney Bob Murray announced today, December 10th, that 52-year-old Annin Damian Soldierwolf, of Riverton, was sentenced to 70 months imprisonment, 10 years of supervised release, and ordered to pay a fine of $500 and a $100 special assessment for abusive sexual contact.

The sentencing hearing was held before Chief United States District Court Judge Scott Skavdahl on December 7th, 2021.

Soldierwolf was indicted by a federal grand jury on July 22nd, 2022, on a single count of abusive sexual contact. The charges were based on Soldierwolf knowingly engaging in sexual contact with a minor who had not attained the age of 12 years.


Soldierwolf abused the minor repeatedly over the course of five years.

On September 15th, 2021, the Defendant appeared before Chief United States District Judge Scott W. Skavdahl and entered his plea of guilty to the sole count in the indictment alleging Abusive Sexual Contact.

The investigation was conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Bureau of Indian Affairs. Assistant United States Attorney Kerry J. Jacobson prosecuted the case.
