Temperatures across Fremont County dipped below zero overnight. As of 7:45 a.m. Wednesday morning, a handful of spots across Wyoming including Riverton, were slightly colder than current Antarctic temperatures.
At 7:45 a.m. MST in Belgrano II Base Antarctica it was a balmy 3 degrees. Both the Rothera Research Station and San Martin Base checked in at 2 degrees.
Meanwhile, Riverton was at zero Wednesday morning.
To be completely fair with this silliness, Vostok Station Antarctica was reporting -37 this morning, so it could be a lot worse…
