    Riverton Honor Farm reports 22 active COVID cases

    The Wyoming Department of Corrections announced an update to their COVID cases at their facilities across Wyoming today, November 20th.

    Currently, at the Wyoming Honor Farm in Riverton, there are 22 active cases that are confirmed positives – 20 inmates and 2 staff.

    All active inmate cases are medically monitored and managed by the Department and our health care provider (Corizon Health, Inc.) in accordance with CDC guidelines, according to the DOC.

    Below are the reported numbers for their other facilities outside of Fremont County.

    Wyoming Medium Correctional Institution (WMCI) Torrington – Active Covid Cases: 19 (Staff 12, Inmates 7)

    Wyoming Honor Conservation Camp (WHCC) Newcastle – Active Covid Cases: 14 (Staff 1, Inmates 13)

    Wyoming Women’s Center (WWC) Lusk – Active Covid Cases: 1 (Staff 1, Inmates 0)

    Wyoming State Penitentiary (WSP) Rawlins – Active Covid Cases: 8 (Staff 6, Inmates 2)

    The Department continues conducting rigorous surveillance testing at all sites and will provide additional information as it becomes available.
