(Riverton,WY) – On the morning of Thursday, August 19th, 6:05 AM, Riverton Police Department (RPD) and the Riverton Volunteer Fire Department (RVFD) were notified of a structure fire on East Monroe and East 20th.
RVFD was dispatched to the fire where a house was fully involved, according to Brian Hutchins, Chief of the Riverton Volunteer Fire Department.
Upon arrival, a male subject stated a female was still inside, but firefighters were unable to locate anybody when they made entry into the home.
It has been confirmed that no lives were lost in the fire.
The fire was then extinguished, and the scene was turned over to the Wyoming Fire Marshal’s Office for investigation.
15 firemen responded with 3 apparatus, and support was received from RPD, Fremont County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO), and Frontier EMS.
