The band students are: Jayce Leach, Tanner Selvig, Hannah Finn, Dalten Leach, William Mumme, and Terra Tippets and Cheyenne Smith.

Mumme, addressing the board, said he moved to Riverton last year from Minnesota He told the board what an honor it is to participate in the band here and how great it is to have such an opportunity. “In Minnesota you have to have expensive private lessons to even have a chance for such an honor. It’s great to be here where everyone has a chance,” he said. Mumme is the band’s drum major.

Superintendent Terry Snyder thanked Dulkaski and shook the hands of the students for earning the honor. “As you know, we had a very late resignation of our band director this past summer, and we and the kids were fortunate that we found Mr. Dulkaski in time for our fall start of school.”

The band earlier this school term earned a Superior rating at the Wyoming State Marching Band competition.
