Riverton football to participate in “zero week” game this Friday at Powell

The weather and calendar both are indicating that it’s just about football time in Fremont County.

Prep teams will compete in “zero week” games this weekend. Zero week contests count for 4A schools, but all other schools use zero week as a pre-season scrimmage that will not count to their regular season record.

At this point, Riverton football is the only county team with a zero week game listed by both the Wyoming High School Activities Association and WyoPreps.
