(Riverton, Wyo.) – Riverton’s elementary schools participated in the Gobble Gobble Give program through the Wyoming Food Bank of the Rockies. According to Superintendent Terry Snyder, “We collected a LOT of food, well over two tons.”
Here are the exact figures:
- Aspen Early Learning Center, 2,057.4 pounds
- Ashgrove Elementary, 849.4 pounds
- Jackson Elementary, 719 pounds
- Willow Creek Elementary, 1,604 pounds
- Rendezvous Elementary, 200 pounds
Total 5,429.4 pounds or 2.7147 tons
