The Riverton City Council held a special public meeting Monday, March 16th to discuss Covid-19 (Coronavirus). The Council and Mayor Rich Gard urged residents to follow CDC guidelines. Including, washing hands often, avoid touching your face, don’t gather in large groups, staying home if you feel ill.
The Council and Mayor discussed the need to, “not panic” at this time. They explained that, “stocking up a little is okay,” but said that one or two people shouldn’t attempt to buy, “all the toilet paper in town.”
Riverton City Council will hold it’s regular meeting Tuesday.
