The Riverton City Council will meet for the first time in July on Tuesday the 2nd at 7:00 p.m.

Meeting items include a public hearing on a new liquor license asked for by Asian Cuisine #2 owner Beverly Moody.

At the last council meeting, the idea of moving the speed limit signs on Main Street (Highway 26) near Maverik closer together, was discussed. There were concerns presented that the speed limit signs of the 30 mph zone and 45 mph zones were in different locations depending on the direction of travel.

Details about the 2019 Summer Rendezvous Games will be presented, and a memorandum of understanding will be provided on the Moneta Divide Participating Agency.

Meetings are open to the public and broadcast on local cable channel 191.
