Riverton City Administrator formally introduced to the county commission
Riverton Mayor Lars Baker brought the city’s new administrator to Tuesday’s commission meeting for a formal introduction. Tony Tolstedt, formerly the city administrator in Douglas greeted the commission and said he looked forward to getting to know county personnel better.
“I like to look at long range planning, I’m a very data-driven person, and we’re looking at redevelopment of our master plan which would require county input,” he said. “I like to have a plan with information I can share with our council for their decision making,”
Tolstedt said in his former position, he worked closely with the Converse County Commissioners and highlighted a joint law enforcement center as a result of that cooperation. “I’ll certainly work with your planner,” he said.
“I appreciate the formal introduction, it’s always important to work together,” said chairman Travis Becker. “I look forward to seeing where we go from here.”
