Riverton business donates $500 for Art Banner Project winners

(Riverton, WY) – The Art Banner Project announced Wednesday that Riverton business, RTO Point S, has donated $500 to cover the compensation for the two winning artists.

The first-ever call for Fremont County painters was shared in early June to submit a single painting of their choice to the Art Banner Project.

The paintings will be on public display from July 6–20 where the public is being called upon to vote for the winners. There will be two selected artists who will each receive $250 which is now covered by the RTO donation.

Brent and Rochelle Sheldon with RTO Point S, said that “they love the art banners displayed around town and wanted to support adding more to the community.  Adding Fremont County artists to the mix of masters that are currently on display…is a nice touch.”

Speaking on behalf of the Art Banner Project, Hal Herron and Mike Martin expressed their gratitude by stating: “Having community-minded companies like RTO Point S support our larger than life-sized art initiative is wonderful. It is donations like this that keep our Riverton beautification project moving forward.”

Those wishing to participate in this local call for artists need to deliver their painting to the Riverton Library no later than Saturday, June 19th at 3 pm. Complete details can be read here.
