A Riverton 19-year-old, Alexzander Mills, is facing 3 counts of second-degree sexual abuse of a minor.
According to court documents, on February 27, 2019 a female child between the ages of 13-15 appeared at Community Health Center in Riverton along with her mother and told staff that she had been, “sexually assaulted by Mills.”
Only limited details about the interactions have been released so far, but court documents show three individual encounters between the two parties involved in October and November 2018.
On April 2nd, Mills waived his preliminary hearing. The matter is now going to be transferred to District Court for arraignment at a later date.
Each count of sexual abuse of a minor in the second degree is punishable by up to 20 years of imprisonment.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
