Friday afternoon turned out to be a great day for a parade.

Hundreds of students, children, and community supporters gathered on Riverton’s Main Street, most wearing cardinal red and black.

This year’s homecoming theme was “The World Needs More…” Each day of the week had a different theme including, “More Creativity, More Heroes, More Cowboys, and More Wolverines.”

Several floats also supported that theme as well. The RHS and RMS band entertained the crowd with music, while cheerleaders, football players, and the volleyball team had fire truck escorts and received loud cheers.

RHS volleyball plays Jackson Friday at 6:00 p.m. The Wolverine football team hosts Star Valley at 7:00 p.m. And, the Homecoming Dance is set for Saturday night.
