(Rock Springs, WY) – The Riverton High School (RHS) golf team nabbed the top spot at the Rock Springs Invite that took place August 26/27th.
The multi-day invite was played at the White Mountain Golf Course, and competitors included Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Evanston, Green River, Jackson, Kemmerer, Lyman, Pinedale, Riverton, Rock Springs, and Star Valley.
Parker Paxton finished in first place for the weekend by a whopping 18 strokes, shooting a 69 on 18 holes both days, for a combined total of 138.
Dax Fischer, Brett Jones, Kyler Graham and Brodie Dale all finished in the top 15.
Riverton finished in first with a team total 635, Jackson was close behind with 645, followed by Cheyenne Central in third with 660.
There were a total of 80 golfers and 11 teams participating in the event.
