RHS bringing anti-hazing speaker in for presentation, event is open to community

    Riverton High School has announced they’ll be hosting a presentation Monday, October 8th at 6:00 p.m. which will feature Dennis Goodwin.

    Goodwin is the co-founder of the Anti-Hazing Collaborative. 

    According to their website, the Anti-Hazing Collaborative was founded to “help schools, colleges, universities, athletic organizations, and local communities to work to eliminate hazing and bullying.” They do seminars regularly across the country.

    Goodwin is a Science teacher from Massachusettes with over 20 years of teaching experience at middle school, high school, and community college levels. He’s also been involved in athletics for over three decades, coaching lacrosse and officiating basketball and umpiring baseball.

    The meeting is open to the public and will be conducted in the RHS multi-purpose room.
