Alexxis Motisi will continue her basketball career in her hometown this winter. The former Riverton Lady Wolverines star graduated this spring and announced this week that she’ll be playing for Central Wyoming College.
Motisi averaged 14.5 points per game her senior season with the Lady Wolverines and grabbed 7.2 rebounds per game. The 5’10 guard was the second-leading scorer this season in the 4A West. She also collected just over 3 steals per game.
As it currently stands, CWC basketball is scheduled to begin in early October. Recently, CWC was forced to postpone volleyball and soccer after Region IX announced that all “close contact” sports will be delayed for COVID-19 precautions.
