    Registration for CWC Lander and Alpine Science Institute’s spring and summer community education and recreation classes is now open!

    Their lineup of classes offers a variety of outdoor activities for students of all ages (and adults too). 

    Preschoolers and kindergartners have the opportunity to explore Sinks Canyon State Park and have an overnight campout with their parents at Wacky Fish Camp.

    LEAF (Learn, Explore, Adventure, Fun) Camps for 1st – 8th graders will take place at the CWC Alpine Science Institute and feature local experts from the Lander community in the areas of science, astronomy, art, creative writing, fly fishing, birding, and more.

    Middle and high school students can take a week-long backpacking expedition into the Wind River Mountains, learning valuable camping, navigating, and Leave No Trace skills along the way.

    Rock climbing and mountain biking classes are available for a variety of ages and skill levels – students will enjoy climbing in beautiful Sinks Canyon State Park and riding the trails at the Alpine Science Institute!

    Edible and Medicinal Plants, Mushroom Gardening and Flower Botany are also available for kids and adults alike.
