Fremont County high school volleyball teams head into the postseason this weekend with regional tournament play Friday and Saturday. Those that qualify, will attend the state tournament in Casper next weekend.
1A/2A West regional play is happening in Lander this weekend and includes St. Stephens, Dubois, Shoshoni, Wyoming Indian, and Wind River. Play at LVHS will take place in both the Field House and Auxilary Gymnasium.

1A
St. Stephens vs. (#1 SW) Cokeville – 2:30pm
(#3 NW) Dubois vs. (#2 SW) Saratoga – 2:30pm
2A:
(#4 NW) Riverside vs. (#1 SW) Shoshoni – 11:30am
(#3 NW) Tongue River vs. (#2 SW) Wind River – 10am
(#4 SW) Wyoming Indian vs. (#1 NW) Greybull – 11:30am
Consolation and semi-final games are scheduled for Friday afternoon and evening. Championships and consolation championships take place Saturday.
Meanwhile, Lander’s girls are playing in Mountain View this weekend, taking the 3rd seed from the northwest. They’ll play second seed, host, Mountain View at 2:30 p.m. Friday afternoon. LVHS will play a semi-final later Friday if they win, or fall into loser-out play early Saturday with a loss.
Riverton’s ladies are at the 4A West regional in Rock Springs. RHS is the 3rd seed from the northwest and will battle 2nd seed Green River Friday at 3:00 p.m. Semi-final play for the Lady Wolverines if they win, would be around 7:30 p.m. Friday night. A loss results in a 10:30 a.m. Saturday loser-out game.
Gillette, Torrington, Glenrock, and Newcastle are hosting tournaments for teams in eastern conferences this weekend as well.
